A vibrant new art installation is being proposed for West Mechanic Street, with the goal of transforming the space into a bold statement of inclusivity and community pride
A petition has been launched in support of creating an asphalt art landmark, featuring the Progress Pride Flag, as a symbol of diversity, acceptance, and progress. The proposed project, spearheaded by New Hope Celebrates (NHC), will be fully funded and maintained by the organization, ensuring no financial impact on local businesses or taxpayers
NHC is calling on community members to show their support by signing the petition. This collective effort will demonstrate to local decision-makers the strong desire to bring this meaningful landmark to life. Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to add their names to the petition and share why they believe New Hope would benefit from this powerful public art project
